they have more sex. when you sail around with a large amount of livestock there is a small chance that they make babies and you get more of that livestock. like if i sail around with 50 chickens for around 20-30 days i normally get another chicken or two from breeding.
this just makes it so i get even more babies

as aide ship skill : lol , this one is alittle bit epic , if the cargo in your aide ship , the skill with work , but it doesnt effect the main ship ...

So I Tested this skill out here are some things you should know...

1.This is a passive skill that makes it so livestock give birth more in your hold. 100 cattle one will give birth now you have 101.

2 IMPORTANT. This does NOT work on all livestock this only works on BASIC livestock all others will not reproduce ever. Basic Livestock is Cattle,Chickens,Ducks,Sheep, Pigs and Goats. All others will not reproduce.

3. The rate in which animals reproduce INCREASES the higher the number of days you are at sea. I have been in sailing almost 60 days and the livestock was giving birth every 2-4 days.

4. When the animals give birth only get 1 extra offspring at a time...

5. You DONT have to be moving for this to work. MAYBE works if you are shipwrecked also


In my opinion this is not worth a ship slot unless maybe you literally keep an alt outside port just breeding livestock I guess. But for what you can simply just get more just buying it in port. IF it worked on all livestock it would at least be a little useful for newbies but I can foresee some losers using their alts and this method to farm Nanban goods so I get why it only work on basic livestock.

I always wondered if this skill worked with EA livestock trade goods. Guess the developers figured that would've been too broken an ability even for their paid subscription, non-alt(?) using player base. Thanks for the info.
