Hard to measure that. But if ur hostilities towards a nation are too high "Warring" you can end up paying to enter into thier ports. This skill makes u friendlier towards them so you dont need too (like most players)
Not sure if it helps towards purchasing more and at lower prices. As far as Im aware only investing in cites helps towards that. Again its very hard to measure how much.

from stronger nation to weaker nation: They can't dislike you and you lose 5k fame from each class. From weaker nation to stronger nation, i think it's just like Ottoman except you don't piss off the entire world at you, just the nation you defected from.

Yes over time it go back to normal, as you can see Old Otto players have Otto Empire normal.
