higher rank doesnt make this skill any less vulnerable to assault...assault counters tactics if used at the same time like a scissors paper stone game...

it buffs up your atk n def so in any case it's strenghtening urself against any melee skills for the following rounds...1% total atk/def increase per rank IIRC...

boosts do nothink with this skill grinding. you get points for every use - any rank skill. Lower attack = more uses on same enemy. So if grinding suggest low melle attack and good def!

This skill is very popular due the boosted melee stats for each usage. The effect is doubled when it counters Gunfire.

It has the following influence:
1) At higher rank it increase the boost of melee stats by a small amount.
2) It can sometime counter items from the enemy. *
3) Decreases the success rate of retreating from melee battle by the enemy*

* = Not confirmed, need to prove this first. Other players are welcome to tell if these two are true.
