It helps with some handicrafts recipes too, not the most important ones though. Also, if you maxed out cooking so that you can cook vigour food out of foodstuffs you buy from market, it'll of course still help you buy more.

There's a unisex outfit that gives +2 to this skill called Rouxa. It's made with an Atlantis recipe with the Secretary at your home nations palace, villa, etc. It needs R10 sewing and requires 10 Cotton Fabric, 5 Embroidery Thread, and 3 Fine Velvet. The recipe to make this will likely be gone when Atlantis disappears come Age of Rev update, so id take advantage of this ASAP.

The recipe for this outfit will definitely be gone, as it's related to Ancient Technology Research, which cannot be completed when Atlantis departs. Thanks for reporting it; wish I'd thought to do so a bit sooner.
