i vaguely remember using rescue during a storm back when i was a newb. i might be wrong though

Rescue can be used during battle and when your ship is shipwrecked. It was never able to rescue sailors lost during storm, but that will become a option in one of 2nd age updates.

Do this Imperial Quest if you're gonna grind Rescue.

Wipe out the Caribbean pirates

It will also rank uo your evasion and other maritime skills like Repair.

For someone like me who doesn't have the fastest reaction time needed to hunt for Lifesavers on 1 of 2 custom slot bars, having Rescue on my main battle skills table lets me rescue them much quicker and take less damage while hunting for Lifesavers.

I've been grinding "Wipe out the Caribbean Pirates" IQ, and maxed repair, evasion r15, first aide r15, fire fighting r10, but Rescue is lagging behind at r8... If I shelf First Aide could I lose more sailors to rough seas? Or maybe does low wave resistance cause more sailors to go overboard to rough seas? Any advice to lose more crew so I can get Rescue ranking faster? Possibly a fleet that will blast more of my men overboard?
