I'm sitting just out of PortoBelo at 12864, 4151 and catching nothing but Mako and Great White, if you hit R12 I think this is the best place to lvl. If you are under R12 then the docks at Syracusa give you your best shot IMO.

Tuna is not r8 fishing I have caught tuba at r5 but it is extremely hard

you can start catching tuna around r5, but you won't consistently land them until around r8. The storage recipe for processing tuna is r8 so that is why you will see people say tuna is r8

WHAAT! A true fisherman never shares his secret fishing holes! hehe - In all honesty though I have went from r10 to r15 in just a few days AFK fishing just north of maderia, catching tuna, mako shark, swordfish, and blue mackeral. Coords are 15486,3049, happy fishing everyone!

Oh and I should mention that I am using fisher job/+2 fishing from boost items/the field activities 2 oxford skills, it has helped tremendously.

depends on the rank, but if you're around 8 - 10.. just go to the island north of tripoli.. full of tunas, swordfish and mako sharks..

Get all items with +1/+2 Fishing and turn on Field activity 1 and 2 (Oxford)....Sit in front of Siracuze, and you will see the magic ! :D

In a storm, fishing skill can be used (consumes vigour) but no fish will be caught until the storm ends

Eh, also turns out that if you trigger a siren disaster effect while sailing, your fishing skill will use up vigor but yield no fish. It happened to me when I was charting the Canary Sea, and had nothing handy to help banish the silly siren singing. No fishies were caught by my active fishing skill until the singing finally stopped about two minutes later.

The same thing also happens if your fishing when there's a storm happening. Needless to say, it pays to always carry around Cotton Earplugs or, a better choice, a musical instrument like a Violin

The coat has not. It is related to a special event on other servers; copyright/trademark issues likely prevent a Maris release. I cannot recall about the blue Cat Half Mask though, apologies.
