Not a bad job for those who do not use evasion anyway.

It's not a terribly good one either, as it only has three cannon skills/two melee skills. If you don't use evasion, then canonneer job is better, unless you are meleer. I used this job only to grind gunfire.

This is a really good job it's a jack of all trades kind of job. You have casting and firearms trade so this sets you up to make all the cannons you need or armor/weapons so that is money to support you , has some nice Canon skills for long range sea battle, has 3 good melee ship skills, evasion even without favored can still hit r18, then on top of all that sniping and gunfire are favored with a nice gun like nanban Tatsu or 100 attack gun can easily beat dungeon and although the kiting fighting style is definitely not for everyone but someone really skilled with guns are hard to beat in duel/deck battle like GAMA's best player of all time CRZY_PSYCO_CHICK.
FLAME ON!

Your points are well taken, but trying to invoke a flame war is easier to do when you don't cry "flame on", y'know?

@ Sophia, it isn't that hard of a quest - I'm only a moderate land battler in decent gear and I beat them with only one medicine equipped, it's definitely possible to solo unless you don't have decent gear/land battle skills

To get this job back cost 24M :) ahhaha

This has a new battle skill favored:
Bow Attack - Increases the Critical rate when using a bow or crossbow in Land Battle.
Hunter job (Adventure-type) also has that skill.

Bow attack you can get it at Sheik Uareo in Habana, cost 50k

oops dont know why that repeated but thank you for the info. now got to figure out how to get 180 attack.
Ken09-30-2020
i am confused as if you even raise the excalibure sword up 25 points that only reaches 125 attack, so how does one get 180 attack as i know with gold plated armmor and boots you can get 100 from each for the 185 defense.
Guilder09-30-2020
Every item is limited to 25 attack points and 25 defense. The key to achieving high numbers is to take items that begin with naturally high stats and use a combination of UWC forging tools and Transmutation Alchemy with Unicorn books to boost their power to its maximum level.
Naturally, UWC armors and weapons have vastly better base stats than obtainable items in UWO, so if you plan to aim for the top tier, expect to spend a lot of money (real life and in-game ducats) to accomplish your goal.
Also, there are three other auras:
Light Blue (atk/def related; don't recall the stats needed to trigger it)
Light Pink (same as above; new to the game and is the highest atk/def glow possible)
Gold (limited to those who wear/layer a full outfit from the white Sheriff clothing sets for men and women)
All glows are pretty much cosmetic, it's just that they (apart from Gold) indicate the player's max atk/def rating. Hope that helps. Cheers.
