the biggest thing about this job is the book that comes as a reward for completing the quest to get the endorsement.

I've tried using 5 Special QMP's to try to get the pre-quest (the Lovely Sweet Shop) but still can not get the quest. I have all the requirements: 48+ Trade, 50k+ Trade Fame, 116+ overall combined lvls, 12+R Cooking. Portuguese language is optional. Is there something missing?

Portuguese language is not optional. That's what you're missing. A lot of quests, and especially job quests, won't appear unless you meet ALL the requirements.

Hi, I too am having trouble getting the pre-quest even with Portuguese as a skill. I've used over 20 QMP's and 3 Special QMP's and have not come across the quest.

If you're having the xp / fame / cooking mentioned by Carla, and Portuguese, it should pop up sooner or later. But there might be some QMPs needed.
I've used like a dozen QMPs for the lovely sweetshop, and I think over 50 to get the patissier quest. The latter popped up only after I used the rare quest one.

i got mine just below 5 qmp , Prequest + and real quest ,
just using 1 qmp it popped up already (pre-quest)
And 3 qmp for (real quest) , i dont have portugal language .. But my aide have it and my trade fame is about 80-90k
Overall lv below the requirement 116 , i just 111

Job change cost on ivyro is with job card, 240,000. Without card, all job change is 20x.

I got it, if you did the pre quest but you don't have r12 cooking, use mysterious spices, then qmps, I pulled it twice after using 1 qmp each time, and it's best if you have the poupelin, as the quest has a 20 day deadline

1. Has anyone achieved Chef Meister Title? I would like to hear about it!
2. Is R10 really max cooking rank? If so how do we get Chef Meister title?
3. Why does it say my cooking skill (r10) IS maxed out, yet Patissier job quest requires r12??? Is mystery spices the only way?

Be a merchant with cooking as favoured skill so you can further increase the rank

The max rank of any expert job is r16+1 so patissier you can hit r16 same as chef job and chef mister title is at r15 I beleive

Meisters are all at r15. You don't even need chef or patissier to get r15. Animal trader or foods dealer will do, so will trade merchant (intermediate job) or even... filibuster. A couple of others favour cooking too.
