From what I found out In Gran Atlas Chapter 3, a new carriage route will be added that you can take from here to the new port of San Francisco. Im not sure if your able to carry a limited amount of trade goods like the Calais - Paris route though, nor about how much it will cost.

From the Great Plains to San francisco is all land -.-

I was kidding... though I do find it funny that it says Caribbean Inland for the Great Plains. You can go to the Great Plains through the Colorado Plateau landing point. I'm not sure what quest unlocks this area though.

There's a chain quest you have to follow to unlock Great Plains. Thankfully, unlike other chain quests *cough Xanadu cough* it's only 6 quests long. The actual quest that unlocks Great Plains is
On to the Plains of Freedom!

The carriage in question will also cost
Tow Permit x8 per use.

how about venice and genoa carriage?
Guilder09-03-2015
There's a unique service available to Japanese players in which you can pay an additional subscription-based fee, and in exchange, you can log out and use a special carriage systems to move between cities like Genoa to Venice or Amsterdam, among others:

... I doubt we'll ever see anything like that in GAMA, though. Which is fine, because it doesn't really work the same as the in-game carriage system in France, the Red Sea (for Ottomans only), and the upcoming Great Plains route.
