If you've completed the quest go to an animal trainer in a European capital city, you'll see it in the pets inventory or whatever the name is for it.

This specific pet can be equipped as early as R1 quarters. Pets will only show up at your bazaar after you've fed them their favorite food enough times, I believe. And as Lena said, its favorite food is "mixed meat chunks".

I've had pets not do much at all and others find dropped items all over the place. Same thing with SWMP's.

I think my favorite pet is the owl. Is so cool when you feed it.
I used to wonder how people found these pet quests, now I have had done me a bunch 'em.

I'm still missing a preq on the parrot. Somewhere after the gem's quests...

The pet Chicken comes from a Lisbon merchant quest -- details can be found under the Pet Quest sub-section of "Quests", right here on this website. No idea about how tough the Siamese Cat quest's naval fight is, though. Haven't done it yet! Two or more AoS users in your fleet is probably a good idea if you're not a maritimer (which I'm not).
