Tradable on Maris, only works for rowing ships. Works basicly like any other armament in ship improvement, but if you use one or two of those sky charting parts (together with other parts like sails) you get the message:

"Mysterious power allowed the ship to be improved without an increase in the number of improvements."

I did 2 improvements with those parts.
First: 2 sky chart parts + gun port + LSS
Second: 1 sky chart part + oar + gun port + LSS

And the ship is still at 0/7 improvements and the next improvement is still only 3 SSIP.

In hindsight i would only use one of these parts in an improvement.
