The article of this item says it works only with venettian galleass, I wonder if it will work with a refitted venettian galleas too.
Two questions here, for you:
1.- Is this a FS part that can be used to improve ships stats with SSIP o is it a FS part to create the ship?
2.- Will this work with a refitted venettian galleas (venetian paneled) o just with venetian galleas?
I'm asking because a friend of mine quit uwo and gave me a RVG panneled 3/8 with the skill to help turning wile rowing is in use. I don't know how to improve it or which parts do I need to add more skills, the article, in this database, for the RVG doesn't say much about this ship.

This hull is used for FS shipbuilding only. Your RVG is an Astro ship and you will require a plethora of ship parts (armaments) and main sails to do ship improve using SSIP.
Maybe ask out in world chat for a SB to help you plan and mod your RVG
