The one ship that is made with a large flush deck style hull in capitals that is iron is the patrol corvette, my guess would be that this hull would be used to make one military paneled instead of iron. I don't see any other ship made in a capital city that you'd really want to make an official hull for.

well i was hoping those teak official planels would come into the game for the clippers that can be built at capital and move schooners to carrib cities so they can be built out there as well still trying to figure out when those panels will appear u can see them if u click on teak panel info

So is this in the game yet? And if it is, what ships can be built with it and how does it affect the ship compared the the normal hull you would otherwise use to build that ship?

I don't think it's in the game yet Curious.
If the game stays coherent with the way it has been,
it may likely be that you can build ships like super corvette, bermuda sloop...
It will give official material to those ships, now if the question is: if it will give national wood as official material? i don't know. Otherwise expect the same from it, ship material change and hull stats bonus.
