This panel gives a brighter yellow than spanish, and it also colours the masts and deck...on reset it acts like normal panel, + effects are reset as always. i put one on AFCV, so not sure about if it gives a % dura raise, since AFCV dont get that bonus anyways due to original material.

so this is like a nation panel 141% duration? yes or noooo, anyone can confirm

    Jafar
    03-14-2014
yes its like national panel 141% dura

and I agree that it's perfect for non-NC IS. but I don't think anyone is going to pay more than 1B for it because if you pay so much, you might as well get a better ship than IS.

    Liza
    03-14-2014
you can't get better ship with 1b

    Maria
    03-14-2014
yes you can, not 1B but just abit more, and if you spending that kind of money 2+B will get you a panelled and nicely built MAV

so this is not good for MIS, as u guys say?

Yes, it's good for M.I.S.- but not good for I.S. (non astro version). Remember when you add paneling to an Astro ship, wipe it after so you have a free slot to add another FS part. The color and stat boosts will remain after the wipe. However on a FS part built/non-astro ship like Iron Sides, Vaisseau, etc- if you wipe it, you lose the paneling stats.

it is especially good for an IS bc u have to panel it anyways (starting material Oak) bc dismantling also kills the hull bonus. this is an item with a very narrow area of use.

    03-19-2014
Um, this panel has stats, it is not advisable to use this on a ship that you want to panel/reset because you lose all benefit other than material.

This paneling is PERFECT for an Ironsides or any other FS built ship that is not official panel by default.

    perfect for FCV

    Dongwoo
    03-19-2014
its not perfect for FCV at all, i would advise not using HR panel on FCV

    Hans
    03-19-2014
could be used in FCV instead of 1 improved rope, only if that extra turn is wanted.... and dont want to try to reach max dura
Yes, in ironsides (or elm coommander heavy caravel or that by default non national FS ship) are nice

    03-19-2014
I swear i think people are giving wrongheaded info on purpose. FCV is already official paneled, it only has 4 improves, it is next to impossible to get full durability if you use that panel on one. It would give it one more turn that it doesn't need if you use delphin gaff sails.

LOL ^ that guy =.= check ur fact 1st.....
i really wanna see a FCV build with "Large 3 decked hull" will give u a official panel

    Jean
    03-19-2014
FCV by default is not officially paneled, depends using:
    - "Large 3 decked hull" = iron plated only
    - "Official Large 3 decked hull " = official panel. Color depends on what capital you built it. Seville (Yellow), Lisbon (Blue), etc...

    Dongwoo
    03-19-2014
why bother with building a FCV that's just iron and then panel it? If you built one that wasn't official paneled you already fucked up. When somebody says FCV i automatically assume they knew what they were doing and made it with an official hull.

Making an iron one is just stupid so go ahead and use the panelling on it.

Fucking wow, you guys are beyond help.

    Sakura
    03-19-2014
Yes use the hull that actually takes turn away from the boat and guarantees you can't reach maximum dura. The guy that assumed you would build with only an official hull is a complete idiot *eyeroll*

    03-23-2014
this is still 200m, and when they get used up in a few weeks itll be 400m again, its like adding a gaff with an set of repair tools or maybe an improved rope. this should be worth a lot more, too bad its ugly.

    Misun
    03-23-2014
200m? players are in Seville right now selling for 100m. This will always be around 100m or less as it is 1. Garbage 2. Dropping heavy from Sailor Bottle.

    Lancelot
    03-23-2014
around 100-200. no its not garbage, its still useful for some fs/shipyard ship that has low improvement slot and are not iron/official from the start.
and no point using this on a nc ship if you gonna dismantle it, unless you really like the color .

So if i use this on a national paneled ship, will it remove the stats of the national panel?

    minerguy1
    06-17-2014
It is a national panel so you get the same durra as if it was English, Portuguese, Dutch, French, Spanish, Venetian, or ottoman paneled but you get the ship improvement bonus of the stats @ the top of the page

The market situation with this and the vanilla Holy Roman Imperial Paneling is kinda weird/interesting. This one is indeed still around 100-200mil. The plain one seems to be more expensive though, low demand but very low supply. I have heard speculative prices of 300+ these days.

=> If somebody buys this one for being cheaper, then panels their astro ship and dismantle, they'll still get the official material and colour. Sure they'll miss out on the extra dura and turn but they'll get exactly what they'd get out of the plain imperial panel and save a little money. Is that right?
