I guess we have had good presents out of the historical event, maybe the pattern will be like that from now on. Good stuff from the regular, historical events, useless ones from the special events. But then I suppose maybe they can just drop those special events altogether in that case.

The confectioner in Naples gives sweets every day. Often it's crappy +20s but every other day it's poupelin trees. That's the only thing that's worth getting out of this Valentine event if you are in the Naples area.

I opened a single present, and received the Tailor-made Carnivale Costume item as a reward. If the sudden influx of these two items in bazaars is any indication, I suppose this means its corresponding mask can also be randomly obtained from the 2015 edition of the Valentine's Present.

The matching mask can indeed be obtained through the present. I also received a Spade crest and a couple of handicrafts books. I can't remember which ones but they weren't anything special. I think one of them was the Craftsman's Training Book

akaik the 2 Handicrafts books from the Valentine's Present are the red and yellow Jewellery cut books for crafting gemstones from red and yellow colored ores, but I could be wrong.
