          This is a very good map to grind Recognition and Geography. Farm as many maps as you can in Seville or Alexandria, sail to Caribbean and start grinding. You can report discovery to Balboa in Portobelo - it takes about 3 minutes to discover and report the discovery.
          It is better to do this when Caribbean are safe waters so you don't need to worry about pirates :)

          You're confusing Balboa who report treasures with Cabral in Bahia who report geography locations

          Well, that's technically correct, but if all you want is Geography prof and don't mind missing out on QMPs, then it really is faster to just make the discovery, report it to Balboa, then go and repeat these two steps until you've run out of maps. This same trick works great with the Venice Art/Unlock rank 8 discovery map to Naples, too.
