I meant when you're actually refining the gun, exploding was just a metaphor for when the gun goes bye bye, and flavor text on something means nothing, I wanna know game stats. If you don't know them, or at least have some experience with using the recipe, go away.

i gather you dont have the recipe book or you wouldnt be asking for the different stats so why dont you go and get 1 and try out both recipes and post your findings instead of relying on the good nature of those you insult

from some jap site/blog/wiki/etc...it could be plunder in lv54npc...but dat npc is super rare to spawn and the recipe is super rare to drop...

Level 54 Bounty NPC. Can not confirm if he drops this item.
To spawn the NPC all you need to do is sit on an area where two NPC's spawn and kill them until he shows up.

just a update while hunting for this book i found the lvl 54 bounty does spawn by himself after about 20ish mins (i went afk n found him stood in front of me xD) though it seems killing the other 2 npc's does get him to spawn quicker (nothing solid just wat i noticed) i cannont confirm he drops the book but as n when i get it (or fail to do so) i will update here so to help everyone else :D

its a crap gun far outdone by EA version and in reality not many people buy the gun compared to the price of the book- its a waste of money.
had it for ages had NOT sold a gun for ages I sold the book 50m within the last month.

Ill tell u straight up carving spiral groove recipe is pure bullshit...it gives about 1 or 2 more points per craft at the expense of being DOUBLE as likely to get a failure and break. DO NOT EVER EVER EVER EVER EVERRRRRR do carving spiral groove with this recipe

Plundered this today from New Guinea South. When the rare NPC appears, he spawns in place of the lvl 38 one. In the south central clearing, two of those spawn in the same area. Keep killing them until this one eventually appears. I got it on the 6th time. They are pretty rare but they also seemed to appear in bunches.
