For some reason, I can't seem to find this book at any of the locations listed, I was advised to invest first, but over 5 million doesn't seem to even cut it. This book has either 'vanished' at this point, or I'm simply not doing something right. Please help.

It is listed at the item shop and not the craftsman...

Indeed, you are correct, I did not invest in all the locations listed, though through company members far beyond my own level, I indeed have confirmed of that, and I did check with both the local item shop, and the craftsmen, just in case there was an error. The book can still not be found, can you buy this book Sakura? On the English Gamma server? If so then please do inform me of the location you bought it from.

now time for the obvious question: did you scroll down? it's usually at the very end of the list of items that can be bought and you won't see it when you first open dialog.

Alright, well I've finally obtained the book, though it was still very odd... Checking in multiple ports didn't get me this book, neither did checking both craft and item shop, and even though it's obvious, yes I scanned through the entire inventory. I did however obtain it, strangely enough by buying it in the London item shop, not myself, I had to have my company leader buy it for me, and to be honest there's no telling how much he's invested by now... Still I thank you all for your help, if nothing else the information alone is invaluable, I appreciate all of your assistance with this. We'll chat sometime DreadPirate, I think I may know you from game...

Glad you managed to finally get it. To be honest I can't exactly remember how I obtained mine but I'm fairly certain it was by investing in Lisbon (which is my home port)

Before I went French I invested like 5mill In Seville, then invested 10mill in Marseille and could see the book. Will have to check in Amsterdam, now that I am dutch. :)
