i have been hunting this book for a while with r9 plunder and cargo seizeure i am unsure as of which fleets to hit if any1 can make it a bit clearer for me i would appreciate it (drop me a message in game or on here) tyvm in advance for your help :)

this isn't a hard book to get, I managed to get it with r7 plunder within about 15mins and didn't even have aide seize cargo or ambush. try using some pillage orders

The fleet from which u can loot this item is north of stockholm,above the landing point Golf of Bothnia West Coast.
Its the viking fleet - 4 large ships ( u cant miss it ).
To make these appear u need to grind through the other small fleets that appear.

Its to the very north of stockholm, be aware that there are 2 fleets with the exact appearance, but one doesnt drop the book, the formation is 1 large galleon, 3 battle galleons, they drop gold bars and gunnery guide, so if you get something else while plundering is not the fleet you are looking for, IIRC, when i got the book i got it from the fleet you can attack, but there are another 2 fleets that are surprise attack only and drops Loki's goblet and Thorstein the Red's armour.

Okay so after a long grind port hopping for Graphite, Iron Ore, Coal to fab the spears from spear training beginners, advanced and secrets, one can finally start strengthening these through this book but wait... you need to craft the Great Warriors spear first which requires sand and more steel... You will no doubt have some failed attempts so GL!

You will also need to have all 4 Oxford production skills boosts on and the oxford item improving skill plus an iron heart.. I recommend max casting and workshop on your boat plus magician tarot equipped for maximum results.

At Casting R15 +2 and no workshop or tarot got me approx one 100 attack spear per 35 attempts thereabouts.. I have slowly found some what of a pattern as to the failures but is not perfect and still very frustrating.

I would recommend to make 30 at a time and the ones that do start to get high enough attack (over 70) to be careful not to burn them up. If you start running low on spears to strengthen and you have a few higher attack ones.. Stop and repeat the entire process and re-load with more spears to keep a 'Buffer' of lower attack ones to burn/sacrifice while trying to get the few maxed. Kinda hard to explain but I hope this helps a bit for anyone wanting to try their hand at making on these 100 attack spears..

The fleets are above Kokkola, in the northern end of the baltic sea.

You will have to grind through a few small viking fleets to get to the bigger fleet with black sails and vikings crest. Like Ming Mei said, more common loot is the gunnery guide.
