i got search 4 art 5 and german and i have tried for days to get the statue of madonna and child quest and have failed to have it come up. is there a secret to having it appear.

I've never seen the quest come up either. I think there may be a map or something that needs to be do first.

I got this quest and endorsement a couple of weeks ago. Check to see if you have pre-discovered the "Annunciation". I had discovered it during a low level art map quest. Here is the mediator text of the Madonna and Child quest which I think supports this:

@ Junchul - It took me quite a while of port hopping to get this quest (due to serious lack of qmps at the time lol) As Mei has said as long as you have discovered the Annunciation then patience is probably my best advice

This is a weird one. I have done Annunciation and I'm Venetian so I check the quests in Venice all the time. I've never seen the quest for Priest... don't really need the job but that's beside the point. I want it anyway.

As there are different versions of Discoveries named The Annuciation, the prequest map is actually specifically stated under the discovery's description 'An altar piece by Simone Martini'. do make sure you have the right one.

I have 64k adventure fame all the right skills language and all I have the discovery ( from the map ) The annunciation was on title adventure grad am from Venice and am on Missionary job used 64 QMPs and cant pull this any guesses as to why?

Just did this one. Pre-req is "The Annunciation - an altar piece by Simone Martini". Got it after 20 or so QMPs. German, either you or an Aide is NOT required. Since no "reading" is required, Body Language worked just fine.

If you use x1 Letter of Appreciation from Seafarers for Job Endorsement, the NPC named Molina (Spanish flag NPC; three trading caravels) sailing around Naples gives this job card. It can be easier to do than the quest if you're in a hurry. Hope this helps. Cheers.

I received this card from Pierre Failu, a French flag NPC fleet that sails in the Gulf of Thailand and seems to spawn from Gia Dinh. It doesn't seem to be recorded elsewhere yet, so I hope this info helps some!
