Its kind of my secret but oh well, its not like it something truly special :)
Go straight west from Bergen, sail in a straight line just so far that you will still be able to see the town in the horizon (it must not fade away), then lower the sails and FISH ahoy (8-9/10 salmon catch)! :)
Note that with low maritime level and/no caution you will be ambushed by Norwegian pirate fleet, which is not strong, but can kill you if you go afk, which can be annoying.

best spot is just outside the landing north of bergen there are no NPC and you get abought 90% salmon almost every cast will be salmon

You can consider Isle of Man (NE Dublin).. Both Salmon and Cod are often shows up.. I'm at Fishing R5

I tested the point west of Bergen and the one off Scandinavia West (landing point north of Bergen). Fishing R12.

The point west of Bergen was ok, but along with a good amount of salmon and cod I also got herring and trash rockfish. I tried several spots in the general area so I might have been slightly off the sweet spot.

The point just off Scandinavia West gave me 80-90% salmon and a small amount of herring. Coords 345,1690.

ya if you can find the spot just west of bergen a little it's almost alway salmon, same as the spot you just described. maybe some cod every once in a while.

Key is to be near the shorelines.

wow. just hit a sweet spot. nothing but salmon every time. im a serious player, trust me. outside of bergen at 173,1934. more than 10 mins here and only salmon

update. well, now just got 2 rockfish

Tried the last suggestion, 173/1934. Caught 230 salmons, 10 cods and 20 Matsubras. I would say it is quite a good spot.
