This is directed at Mei. If all you wanted was profit, then yes, i agree 100% this is not the way to do it. But the value of Pinjarra having pink diamonds goes beyond profit.

One place to get gold is pinjarra. That by itself is not enough to redeem it, since caribbean or west africa have gold as well and are alot closer.

But lets not forget about eucalyptus, which is a great way to raise storage, since lisbon has a r14 storage pet food recipie that can be done at r7 if you have +7 in bonuses, which is easy to get.

Now lets add in pink diamond. With each port hop we can buy eucalyptus to gain great points on storage, gold for company delivery events or recipies or just to sell in company shops, and we can get pink diamond and make a good profit on it.

And to top it all off, you will almost never see player pirates there since there are no ships nearby to grind on, and the majority of the shipping lanes are to and from ambon.
