Sells for 3 to 4k in Europe. Not really worth bringing back.

It sells well becoz of merchant quests from Jarkarta that rewards 4xPO 4, traders who finished namban or spice trade usually take these quests back, and buy the goods at shop to finish quest.

Oooh, I never knew about the Jakarta quests, I shall have to remember that for the future. Well, players much more learned than I, two questions:
1. Does this Nanban well, at least compared to other Fragrance goods?
2. Would you recommend this for part of a Handicrafts grind, or are Oil Paintings (R15) still a better choice for those with copious amounts of Vegetable Oil? I do have plenty of Fragrant Wood from Private Farms, if that matters any.
My thanks for any insight/advice you can offer.

1. Camphor, or any other of those other fragrances from SEA for that matter, doesnt do well in nanban at all. If you want to trade Fragrances for Nanban, the best spot is port hopping along the West coast of India for Jasmines, Musk, and Sandalwood. They seem to love those. Just watch out for player pirates who sometimes hang around Calicut.
2. When I did my handicrafts grind, I just stayed In Bordeaux and did the brewing sherry recipe over and over which seemed to be a lot faster then the other Handi recipes at later ranks. But if you get bored of it, or want to try something else, the Oil Painting recipe is the way to go. Not only are Oil Paintings decent for nanban, but you can use it to grind college credits as well with the Oxford basic production 3 research. :)
