I find it pretty rediclious that they're raising the prices of these item. It takes 19 astro's to get 5 SSIP which is equal to 76-95m. Which makes a prices around 15m-20m not bad at all. With 21m-25m you bring per astro cost to 6-7m.

Not only for this item, but other nc items are raising at the same time due that most players are acting greedy and come up with "inflation" as argument. Inflation due too much money in-game, I don't think so.

I hope this will change back to the original price, because new players are especially targeted lately... :(

15 mil has always been the standard price for SSIPs. 20 mil and beyond is just pure greed.

I have a question. Why SSIP price is underrated as compared to CT price?

In USC terms, 1x CT is equivalent to 8.5~9.5x SSIP (see USC-terms price below)
As CT is now traded around 1.2 to 1.3 bil, SSIP should be 130m to 140m. But in reality most players are bidding only 60m for SSIP.

I know SSIP is one of the most frequently used USC items, unobtalinable ingame and its stockplie from Founder Rewards(5 years ago) are now negligible. Then SSIP price should be determined solely on UWC terms. But market says NO. Why?

These don't need to cost any more than they already do imo. Personal feelings about inflation aside...

SSIP are basically a one-use, guaranteed outcome item. You mod your ships, and you're done. You get more ships later? Whatever, no different: buy/use for the guaranteed outcome.

But CT are a lottery. You could get what you want in 1-5 tickets, or in 100+. Maybe more. The promise of winning big keeps people coming back and paying more for the privilege of doing so. (I don't think their value should be so high, but the idle rich willingly pay more for them in bulk and thus the inflated value occurs.)

That's just my two ducats' worth, of course. Cheers.

SSIP are not only from the UWC stores, you can get them from Cove/Captain's ticket.

you can get 15 of them each time.

You can get it defeating NPC, now. The Sparkling and the Splendid chest they drop can have some. I got 20 SSIP after farming the Siberia NPCs for 2 entire days 8D
