This item's recipe was added with Black Bart update. It is transmutation alchemy and requires the following:

Skills: Alchemy R11 & Storage 11
Transmutation Alchemy Equipment or Complex Alchemy Equipment furniture installed in quarters
Completion of Egypt and Atlantis quest

There are four different ways to craft this item, depending on the base item used. I will list all four of them.


Version 1 (Fire)
Base Item: Catalyst of Fire
Additional Ingredients:
Catalyst of Air x15
Catalyst of Water x30
Catalyst of Earth x30


Version 2 (Water)
Base Item: Catalyst of Water
Additional Ingredients:
Catalyst of Earth x15
Catalyst of Fire x30
Catalyst of Air x30


Version 3 (Wind)
Base Item: Catalyst of Air
Additional Ingredients:
Catalyst of Fire x15
Catalyst of Water x30
Catalyst of Earth x30


Version 4 (Earth)
Base Item: Catalyst of Earth
Additional Ingredients:
Catalyst of Water x15
Catalyst of Fire x30
Catalyst of Air x30


As with all Transmutation recipes, the probability of success is not 100% (except with Book of Uroboros item) and failure will result in the loss of the additional ingredients (except with Book of the Wingless Dragon item) as well.

This item is equivalent to UWC cove/CT item Mysterious Aether Charm -- however, in the future it should be possible to craft Ancient Aether Charm (Med) as well, using this for a base item.

Minor note: I have been informed by Jebi (iirc, it was early last month) that there is a small but key difference between this item and Mysterious Aether Charm.

Multiple MAC can be used together (raising attribute success rate up to 100%).
Ancient Aether Charm cannot be used together.

I have not tested this for myself but that difference is a disappointing one. The future 10%/20% versions will still be useful, however. Cheers.
