According to JP wiki data, this is acquired during "Historical events "special race", "Treasure Hunt"". If it follows the rules of past Historical Event treasure boxes, it will randomly drop one of the following:

Fortune Blade
Document Storage Expansion
Equipment Storage Expansion
Celebratory Wooden Paneling
Festival Wooden Paneling
Spikenard Oil

GAMA plays by different rules, though, so some of the contents *Cough* ship panels and expansion tools *Cough* could be altered/absent from the above list. I suspect the "special race" is linked to the current Azores race, but have yet to determine that for certain. Perhaps after a few more repeats of the race...

Okay. This chest is awarded when you've completed the Lisbon-Azores historical event race 50 times. A unique title (necessary to equip the Robes/Dress) is awarded at 39 races. As this information is taken from a JP site (and I'm not yet up to 39 total races), I can't say what the exact title is, just yet.

Gotta love gama. Takes all the good items out of the reward box and replaces with silver tarots and discharge forms. 50x runs from lisbon- azores for a few silver tarots?! Yea ill pass....

Just remember to add the usual Hypertext Transfer Protocol bit before it. And, Chronic: I don't approve of these substitutions either, but I understand the reasoning behind it. KOEI runs the game as a business, and unless it generates money, it's not worth a thing to them -- Asian servers, I've been told, charge a monthly subscription fee, so of course the rewards will be better there. (We get 3 SWMPs for 20ish races, JP players got a Wind King Amulet.) It helps motivate you to keep playing, as well as keep paying.

As GAMA is free (and I know I wouldn't be here if it weren't), valuable items like those mentioned above will, of course, be changed for something of lesser value; otherwise people wouldn't invest in Astros, which does help to keep the game afloat. As for me, I'm happy just to have the title, and to have helped some other people run the event at the same time.

@Guilder If people wouldn't be rewarded properly they wouldn't play and pay money. It's hard to balance and I don't like OGP monetary policy. Other games like LoL and WoT have millions of players and huge money with much more soft cash shop

Meh. Tow permits... well, seeing as I'll be going through 8 of them per Great Plains - San Francisco carriage shortcut in Chapter 3, guess holding on to them for a bit isn't such a bad idea.

So this is the reward for doing the new Historical Event...If indeed a Large Storm Sail can be won this way, that's "OK" as a prize, although it seems rather miserly compared to what all the other servers get, and I'll give anyone 10,000 to 1 odds that neither the Celebratory or Festive wood panel will drop from this chest on the GAMA server. There's NO way the "powers-that-be" would EVER allow that to happen.....
