I just ran FSD 8 times and got 6

Previously running about the same drop rate.. Who ever gets it by the "tons" should start selling it then...

Songsunri lower also drops these (Relic Hunter title may help boost their drop rate in all cases, unsure). I find I need them less as I gain in levels; if you're having a supply shortage issue, try to save them for the boss floor (and use just prior to changing between floors).

"Request for an Investigation" quest gives 2 of these upon completion, though it is not the easiest way to farm these...

The lower floors in any of the EA dungeons drops these, usually in good amount. I tend to end up with 4-6 of these per run.

This can be made now through Alchemy at Paracelcus Estate in Venice.

Requirement: R11 Alchemy and R11 Handicraft
Ingridients: 1x Gaseous Drug, 10x Honey and 10x Digitalis
    Quantity per production: 4 ~ 5

This is also one of the best way to grind Alchemy. :-)

Pc on these? I'm not a land battler. Made some and I believe sold for 100k each...

I have seen these being sold for as low as 100k, and as high as 1m. They usually fall somewhere in-between, generally the 250k-500k range. I tend to gather mine in dungeons, and have never bought any, but the market is certainly there.

Since the item description is a bit vague... When you are exploring dungeons, your Stamina gauge will drop at regular intervals. The lower it becomes, the less maximum HP you will have while in battle in that dungeon.

Explorer's Household Medicine restores 70 points of lost stamina per item use to yourself, but not your fleetmates. This item can only be used outside of battle in the dungeons, as well. It is a good idea to fix them to a Quick Slot button for easy mass use while dungeoning.

Lastly, be advised that these items cannot be used to restore lost stamina while exploring the Labyrinth. It holds to a set of rules all its own.

(Just restating Gazi's recipe from above for personal reference):

These can now be made at Paracelcus Estate in Venice. They're also frequently dropped in EA dungeons, and possibly other dungeons as well.

Requirements: R11 Alchemy, R11 Handicrafts (20 vig per production)
    Materials:
    Gaseous Drug x1
    Honey x10
    Digitalis x10
    Gives 4-5 meds per production

Item use/Notes: Restores 50 stamina in dungeons. Does not work in Atlantis/Labryrinth dungeon, as those dungeons use a different system for stamina. But can be very useful for EA dungeons, especially on lower floors or if exploring secret passages.

    Great recipe for grinding alchemy!

I haven't heard anything about it being removed. Certain recipes only appear if you have the rank requirements; could that be the problem?

The recipe is still there. It's just that it wont appear to you unless you meet the requirements of having R11 Alchemy AND R11 Handicrafts (many other recipes, especially Alchemy ones, are like that as well).
