this paint is - as all the above recipes suggest - for the building of Official Ships not for painting your ordinary hull - you would not buy a car at age 15 in UK without knowing if you could drive it legally 1st -

LOL, mad dog is google translation for bounty from japanese or chinese word. As it seems ReaD used some asian info but had no direct experience about the fleet.
I can confirm, it's bounty fleet in the north area of Japan that drops special paint. I got a bunch from them.

to elaborate what Jean said. You CAN use this to paint your ship, but that's not the best use of it. It is a component in making official paneling (that's right, you don't have to buy it out of tbox)

when you said "You CAN use this to paint your ship", does it mean it will give you the nations color for the entire hull of your ship??? Unlike the regular ship paint it only changes the upper lines on your hull.

Say for example you have a Festive ship and its hull is pink/red, using this will change it to say yellow???

Because I am sick of people asking me this, I will clarify. This is worth 50m. This does NOT change the color of your sails, it is SHIP paint not SAIL paint. It is used in the recipe for making military paneling (like English, Spain, Venice, etc.). I am selling this for 50m, no less.

making panels isn't even a thing of the past. by the time caps were lifted so that they even could be made, the market was already flooded with tbox panels. making panels may be a thing of the future though, but they would have to quit offering them in tbox for like the rest of this year.

2/Coastal Pirates in newfoundland waters, it's also a rare fleet but we cant tell them apart, since they look exact the same ship formation, the difference is the plunder, normal fleet will drop cranberries and crap, the one that drops the paint will drop Natal Indigo tradegood.

I have 8 of them left (selling 50m each).

Rare fleet in EA spawns in two spots:
1. Between Manila and Anping
2. North-east of Japan. Near the west coast of northern big island (part of Japan i think).

In both spots you need to kill regular bounty fleets (3 ships) until rare fleet (5 ships) appear.

Disguished Pirate Fleet in Newfoundland area, the FCV fleet.

The "normal" and the "rare" fleet is almost no different from each other. The rare one drops Indigo blue something, the dye tradegoods.

Someone told me this before, i havent had the time to actually try it. If you do wanna try , do it.

After spending time in newfoundland my experience of Newfoundland is none, moved to EA got a load, spoken to a few others and same problem. So just keep that in mind if looking for these.

You CAN plunder these from the Coastal pirate fleet in Newfoundland Waters. It's a bit harder to do however because, unlike the Bounty fleet in EA, the "rare" Coastal Pirate fleet that drops them uses the exact same ship formation as the common one that doesn't, and the only way to tell them apart, as far as I can tell, is look at whats being plundered (the common fleet will drop Cranberries while the rare fleet will drop that Natal Indigo dye).
