    It is funny how items are way stronger than skills in the game. As a melee player, you are screwed if enemy keeps spamming this item against you (unless you have Obstruction, but Obstruction aides are lame except the NC aide).

    as mele player im strong in mele, deck or gun fight. shure u can spam smoke bomb but it will help u only if u are in ship with 350+def or 200+sailors.

    well, it's not about whether you could beat someone using white smoke bomb. Rather it's an item almost with no counter (in contrast to melee skills) and thus requires no skills to spam.

    The only effective Obstruction battle aide is NC. Other non-NC Obstruction aides all look lame.
