I did it with 3 characters, and got 3 jade necklaces. I consider that very lucky. A friend did it with two, and got one necklace. Another did it with two and didn't get one. I think it is a 1:3 chance, or very close. Of course, there could be hidden modifiers to the odds that we're unaware of...

It'd be pretty dumb to use this and not use the broom or bear as well. There aren't many instances where +1 is more useful than +2.
