Well, it's a hammer.Hammer is kinda rare on players, NPCs. Imagine getting techs.And it's a slow weapon.+2sword mastery +1 swordplay, so same as excalibur.+1 casting.LOL.But on other side, it has 10 extra def. Which is good. So if it has same techs as sword, I'd take 1, or stick to excalibur.

I have to agree this is kind of a slap in the face to adventurers. And Sonia you can't say for sure that Hans didn't spend any money on xp/skill proficiency items from the website to get his skill ranks high enough to obtain this hammer. The treasure boxes are terrible, but as long as people keep buying them, they will keep offering them.

Huge slap in the face, some people only do these quest chains to get the end item like a Mjolnir so they can sell it to fund their further adventuring. Putting it in the TB completely devalues it. I feel bad for anybody halfway through the chain with that in mind when this happened. Some items really should be left out of it.

I'm very happy that this hammer is in the TB - I have only 1-2 hours a day to play (sometimes less) and this is a great opportunity for me to have such an item - and yes I'm working and support the game with my $$, so can't understand why you all are so frustrated. All of you who have the time to grind the hameer - it is OK - you have it, but it is good that NM are thinking for the players who can't be online 24/7 and want to have a pleasure from the game too - that is rly nice from NM :)

Yes, server need money to run, but giving top in game stuff randomly (remember, you get it from lottery, so you maybe can use it and dont get one, while other get 3 in a row and make lot of free in game money from it!). Arent there other option to get money, and not annoy the guy that WORKED for that reward?. Different if cash shop items are slighty inferior quality, you can get ramdomly a similar stuff but if you want the best one work for it!

Excalibur, Fragarach, Balmung, Gae Bulg and other long quest chain rewards can't be stolen. I died in deeper FSD with my Excalibur gazzilion times, survived many pillages with Excalibur and never lost it. For some reason, that doesen't apply to vinland stuff

Legendary weapons CANNOT be plundered by other players wether you got the weapon from the trashbox or through a quest. ONLY npc's can plunder them.

I've personally tried this out with a friend on GAMA spamming countless pillage orders and also killing my friend with normal melee and at no time did i plunder the weapon off them.

Hard to sell high end weapons nowadays as players prefer the cheap ones but also high attacks. I had to sell my excalibur from 700m to 500m just to get rid of it and took me abt 1-2 weeks to do it. If you have patience you can keep it for a while and maybe someone will want to buy it someday or if you really need of ducats then sell it but for a lower price.

Staff is not slower. Where do you get your info, subjective impressions? Official wiki page on Land battle gives the order, and it goes Knife, Staff, Sword...

It is the same range as sword though.

Hits harder? Bullshit. 100 atk is 100 atk, doesn't matter. Range and attack speed are the only important variables (discounting variations in techs for a given weapon type).

Oficial wiki is lame and innacurate like most of our GMs, taiwan wiki lists it as slow speed, but same accuracy as sword, and higher chance for criticals, so yes it is a slow but heavy dmg dealer weapon as said before on other post, like a good viking hammer should be.

i agreed , 2b is never enough for the effort , the time paid and QMPs for the adventurer , besides , its one time only , u can't repeat it , so why sell it when the mjolnir can be a good weapon for dueling , grinding land battle (with high storage rank of course) the armor is one of the best non maritime armour in game , the helmet is the best helmet in game , golden bow is a nice weapon too

if someone in fleet has the skills, AND you all have the quest, then everyone in fleet can do it.
If you are in fleet and you have quest and other members Dont, then you can only get a +2 to your skills.
This applies for sure to unlock, search, recog & eco. not sure if you can leach the others skills, arch/bio/etc.

its hillarious... i get online and i see everyone trying to get money... pirates will take stuff from others if they can no matter how hard it was for the person to get it... honest traders simply playing the game the way it should be done... and then resellers buying and selling of which if you do a quick google search you will find that there was resellers back in 1600s and even before then... and all the pirates complaining about the resellers, resellers complaining about the honest traders, and honest traders complaining about pirates... so stop your fucking babying about reselers and pirates stealing your shit, i always see people complaining on ivyro... and rarely mentioning anything helpfull... "Carla" asked the PC of vinland armour set... noone answers her... and its been months... but if u scroll up you will notice all of the bitches spent the time to argue... a whole lot of posts in 1 day, but when the arguments died down and someone asks something usfull, heaven forbid anyone answering him/her, gta go and look for another argument... selfish bitches

and btw, idk about all the gear but i know i've seen Silver helm 600-750... Golden bow 200m is highest i've seen sell... silver armour i've seen at 300 but i wouldnt pay any more then 250 and idk about the mjolnir

Where have you been for the past 1 year? It's been like this ever since EA arrived:
1. Pirates will be pirates and steall items from you that's why they are called pirates in the first place.
2. Honest traders are still around and I salute each and one of them.
3. Scammers/Resellers are part of the game. Not just in UWO but all online games even in real life nothin you can do about it.

Good thing is they nerfed EA goods from 2nd age so dungeoning in not that profitable anymore and you will notice people are tyring to be more cautious now in spending ducats as all you can see is WTS, WTS, WTS not WTB. It's a first step to control the prices so hopefully it will continue in time.

Overrated, highlyyyy plunderable weapon. This is good for dueling in seville thats it. Feel free to wear this out to sea, you will lose verry easily.

Wrong HANS spoken like a true noob who only pirates. This a weapon that adds +1 to casting in any job with 100 dura which can unlike the shipwright hammer be repaired with MST so basically its a permanent shipwright hammer which is VERY useful when crafting at sea in your workshop. Not to mention its 100 atk with 10 def perfect for dungeon running. Hans there is more to this game than noob pirating too bad pirates think they run this game. Maybe instead of camping ports for 6 hours straight only to make 25mil you should try to craft and learn other aspects of the game and maybe you will actually make alot of money so you dont have to resort to robbing people for pitiful amounts of money and posting noob comments on ivyro.

Mjolnir sucks. It can be plundered in dungeon too. Plus 1 casting ? Lol i rather buy the casting hammer. This weapon serves no purpose amongst real maritimers. This is a noob weapon, it looks nice and shiny.

All weapons even unplundeables can be plundered in a dungeon DUMB ASS!! Just like I said all you do is pirate and you know nothing else about this game and if you are stupid enough to want to track down and hunt for numerous shipwright hammers through company shops and bazaars constantly over and over for the lousy 5 dura and 30min-1hr at sea before it breaks then you clearly are a noob stick to pirating as crafting is too complex for you. Not all weapons are plunderble. Thais weapon is very plunderable, hats why its 100 att 10 def yet only sells for 4-500m. When there are daggeraxe 85 att and gaebulg 90 att cost more than mjolnir due to their low to no plunderability. No real maritimers use mjolnir. Most are spear/ sword fighters. Mjolnir isnt "useless" but there are far better choice weapons. Bryan1 has a mjolnir just to put in perspective what kind of player uses this...

BTW, all items/equipment other than trading goods become plunder-proof in PvP when Gran Atlas expansion comes.
