well i wonder where did you lear because the only thing in the plunder page is plunder used to plunder books or items from other fleets or npcs and some people complaining about how pirating si dead i went to oulous and there is not much info either there is no info on other wikis so i guess you got that from a korean/japan wiki? or is it just gut feeling? if you got it from a korean wiki just say so im not asking you for a link or anything but its kinda dickish to say learn but i wont tell you if i saw it elsewhere or i just felt like saying it

They crack themselves farming dungeons cause there is no other way to find a 100df glove or 100att Knife ingame. And yes, with proper plunder rank those things are easy to plunder. I bet you are the kind of maritime that only plunder sails and food.

Im not evading, i say a common item is easier to plunder than a rare item. If you dont believe thats your problem. Vox populi that most common lost items are crafted boots and those common stuff like flamberges and jandos. Thats why they cost so cheap. But w/e, keep plundering sails. Nowadays only old pirate players are good.

My guess is "Treasure Legends", but that's all it is -- a guess. "Fairy Tale" theme seems to be based on the pied piper of wherever, "Hidden Hero" is connected to Ogier the Dane, and "Grimoire" has to do with magic/spells/stuff. "Shining Hill" could be it, I suppose, as it has to do with the New World and possibly the cities made out of gold... hopefully somebody can give us an actual answer soon, eh, fellow adventurer?

Now weapon forging tools are common, this is the best throwing knife
but is quite inferior to Excalibur, Dagger-axe and General's bow in terms of land battle related boost.
That means throwing knife is now demoted to be 2nd tier like axe and staff.
TN users should now consider to switch to other weapon-type.

So, Throwing skill only serves as prerequisite for obtaining techs.
Once you acquired some, not necessarily all, you throw the skill into a skill book or can even delete it

The decision on using weapon types may sometime be dependent on the job type too. Despite lacking the weapon boost, a user with a max-ed out throwing skill can still do significant DPS as with all other weapon types. Management of total weapons rank (throwing / SP & SM ranks / sniping ranks) is important for different applications of weapons. I doubt if any weapon would ever go obsolete. It's just the majority of preferences shifting as time changes. Adventurers are better off using knives due to the fact Throwing is an innate adventurer skill set. Just my 2 cents of thoughts.

You must have a pretty bad grudge against Americans. Sorry to hear that. Yes there are 100 att jangdo and kaiken. It is a person's preference on the type of knives they want to use. Some who are concerned with jangdos and kaikens being easy to plunder (since those are common weapons) would prefer this knife but for those who simply want huge damage and have the money to spare would prefer jangdos and kaikens.

Jean explain me how the fastest weapon in the game with the longest range is inferior than a general bow, the slowest weapon in the game. With tools, all weapons can reach the same att making this the best weapon in the game. Fastest, same damage: more dps. Easy math, same for all mmorpg. throw (4) : sniping (4): swordplay (3) + sm (1).

well assuming same ranks of throw sword mastery and the like all weapons seem to have the same speed also you forgot gunfire that one also affects land battle well the main issue here is how are you going to get 4 sets of forging tools to even make it 100atk not even thinking about 151 if you get one then you buy the other 3 assuming you trust the person you are handing over your precious knife because they are untradeable you are going to spend way too much on this some people say its easy to farm the tools and that they are common those are both lies lol

Who told you all weapons with same skills (r15 throw/snipe/mastery) have the same speed? all skills increase that item speed in the same way, if the rank is the same the speed between weapons is the same too. Gunfire at r10 is still a pain in speed terms. Throw is the fastest weapon and guns are the slowest "Throw> club/cane> sword/spear> axe> bow>gun". Also, you cant get a excalibur to 150 att with 5 forging tools either, is the same. Tools are still a problem with old weapons. Throw dont suck, just maritimes never pick a light soldier over others. In fact, most maritimes dont even have the skill.

Throwing adds just as much attack and speed as other skills throwing =+4atk per rank SP+3 atk per rank and SM+1 atk per rank sniping=+4 atk Gunfire add 0 atk per rank but adds speed per rank. CPC told me that when I asked her so there is no better and dungeonman was a stupid event character any real duelist can kill with a jangdo..

You should try to get snipe r15 and gunf r15 and use a gun. A sword with sm r10 is faster. Guns sucks. Anyone can beat a noob with a 150 att item.

Heres what the Japanese Wiki says...Take note articles are also submitted by players not developers

"Attack speed is different by a weapon
Gun >> ax> bow> spear sword => cane knife club> throw"

This is exactly what it says word for word which is very confusing but according to what it says is Gun takes the longest then the speed is
" => " which is equal to greater than cane knife and clubs with throwing as the least time. Why would they say greater than equal to probably because the speed is so small its hard to measure

Now there are TWO VERY important pieces of information missing here..
HOW MUCH FASTER are we talking seconds,miliseconds, or nano seconds? is the difference over 2 seconds is it less than miliseconds?
IS THIS speed at maxed ranks (ex.R20 Throwing vs. R20 Sniping or the base ranks meaning(all ranks at 0) for this argument lets assume its maxed although we have no idea

In my experience I have all techs in the game its not nearly 2 or 3 seconds difference thats too slow and I cant humanly compute how fast a nanosecond is so its not that small so I will say its about a second faster. so lets do math

there are 6 weapons so lets take one second and divide it between the number of weapon to determine how much faster according to the list

Knife=.8 miliseconds faster
sword/spear/cane=.6 miliseconds faster(remember they said cane greater than equal to sword so the margin so small ill just group them)
bow= .4 miliseconds faster
Axe= .2 miliseconds faster
Gun= 0 miliseconds faster


CONCLUSION

So sword is .6 miliseconds faster...and heres my conclusion after all of this... this is a very small margin but still faster none the less do I think its faster to the point to make a major difference? kind of sorta but with people spamming wings its not going to matter anyway as you will be missing most of your normal hits. Also if people were to move around constantly with a long range weapon like CPC the gun would actually hit more often than sword in some cases just really depends on how you fight.

So just fight with the weapon you like the best and enjoy the game they all even out and stop arguing about this because its really stupid just PLAY THE GAME
