Quest 9, Seikin=Sword...translation issue. Involves a fleet battle north of Bergen. After winning, should automatically turn into Balmung quest (I made sure I had Arch r13, Unlock r11, Search r11 to ensure I got the change, but it may not be required).

I dont know if quest is repeatable, but you dont have to have the arch/search/unlock required to get the next quest after the battle pinnaces. and you dont need an AOS... they are pinnaces.....

spy if you looked at fragrach or excalibur pages over the last week
(i believe you made a comment on 1 re farming stuff for income) Montador and others hated on savvia, but also on me because my 'opinion' differed from theirs.

obviously that was ok because you didnt tell him and others to backoff, now we find that his comp boss demanded an excalibur from the noobs as payment and that he instigated the 'conn slur' because he didnt get paid
and Montador knew this because he stated as much in on of his rants.

I am not supporting Montador, although both him and myself along with myriad others help out on Olous and I've seen multiple times that he is willing enough to impart his knowledge about topics on here too. I have respect for people who ARE willing to do so simply that others may benefit from this. I am also not opposing any of it seeing as I have not been privy to this little spat that's happened. I left the UWO forums because of the flame wars that went on in there and now everyone seems to be bringing them here. The whole thing about Savvia is the following.....he is noob he doesnt have enough skill levels to complete the quests, so what he does? he sells the quest he doesnt even is abble to complete so he got the money from the guys who joins the fleets, buy their swords for half price....Then you ask...how does he completes the quest? He convinces some high level adventure to join his fleet....so can you see the scam? he sells something he isnt providing, and scams both the low level guys wich he buys the swords from for half price, and the high level guy who is thinking that is helping some newbs and doesnt know savvia is charging the newbs to join the quests.

well im a noob and i enquired about his fragarach quest after i saw him 'shout' in london. he told me the quest was 65,000,000 (i think) or free if i sold him the sword fr 20,000,000 after, he also said i would not be able to find the sword again.
from this info i gleamed that the sword would be worth 40,000,000 or more.whats more the player doing the quest was present and well aware of what was going on, he said he was doing the quest with or without a fleet, so it made no odds to him.

^ lol.. you just bought a Goliath with +1 Master smithy tool, so Goliath worth like 48m plus the smity tool to make you buy it (50m)

Balmung is a quite better than goliath, since it give +3 swordplay and goliath just 1. (1 swordplay = 3atk)

tl;dr Balmung value is 60m/65m for fast selling (since is the cutest of the swords with high atk)

Swords are obviously inferior to spears when the stat are the same.
Thats why some players choose Dagger-axe/Gae Bolg over Excalibur.
Balmung and other adventure quest swords are kinds of stuff which adventurers give to tavern girl as present.

But Balmung isnt a 2nd class weapon. Tizona is a 2nd class weapon, colada/durandal are 2nd class weapon. This weapon is exactly the same as Gaebolg, the only diff is 1 range. And in this game you cant attack on the run, you need to tank to attack (land battle mechanics are the worst feature of the game), so range (rifles/throwing and maybe spears) only works for hidding behind stones in a dungeon. Besides there is a thing called "sea battles" and abordage/melee that almost no one knows, Pirates years ago use it... in there range dont matter (Since new maritimes enter in a dungeon box).

I'm actually scared to answer because I get criticized for everything I do. :'(

Anyway you can control manipulate the forte list by equipping the weapon you don't want to lose forte on as long as that weapon is equipped it can't be removed from the list.

Every time you introduce a new weapon it takes the place of the lowest number on the list.

This is especially useful when training finesse as you keep introducing then removing the lowest attack weapon from your forte list to keep your attack the lowest it can be.

I've done grinding sb building sambuk which is 12 days and I can assure you within that days my saw loses dura by 1 (not all the time). To be safe, not more than 5 days but I never encounter less than 3 days.

The 30 days don't reset when you port. So, when you first reach the port where you are building your sambuks, it's possible that let's say 25 days have passed since last time you accrued interest. Then you go to build your first sambuk. After 5 days at sea, interest is accrued, and any perishable item in your possession may loose dura. If you want to keep your saw intact, you'd better vault it before going out to sea.

And yet, a few months ago, a friend sold two Balmungs for 450m each, while I nabbed a Six Secrets accessory for 100m in a bazaar a couple days ago. Just goes to show ya, there is no real set value to anything in this game... the market rates are more like guidelines, really.
