No, a great success will only have 16-20 defense, maybe a bit more. Improvements on fool's hands don't carry over to Nuadha's hands or Theseus' gauntlet.

Yes we are freaking sure. it's easy to test, just get one up to 20-30 defense and then turn them in to nuadha's hands, it HAS been done and it DOESN'T carry over, otherwise you would see them for sale.

its kinda sad that this doesnt carry over the stats of fools hands. This and theseus gloves are the only 2 things where the next step is actually a down grade. Pretty stupid of NM

FYI, I just confirmed the nuadha hand thing, made a 30 def fools hand, turned into a nuadha's hand, was 21 def on a regular success. If someone wants to try a 40 def fools hand it'd be nice to see if there's some sort of sliding ratio, but the def boost definitely gets lowered.

Anyone who has high def nuadhas used NC boosts,,i just made 7 pairs using base 45 to 70 def with 4 great successes and they were all 21 def,,altho att varried slightly
