I forget the exact total number as i never cared when forgeing. However its like 3-5 defense points per improve. Say you start with a GS pair of fools after making them, lets assume baseline 20. It would take roughly 16x times to make 100d

The great success pappers you can use 3x per paper. So you would need 5 papers(also non tradeable). Thats five TB's MINIMUM. So thats $11.5 cash outside of game, if you hit a masters secert every single tb (doubtfuly as we know how the tb works)

easier way with alchemy? there is no easier way any way you do it it still takes a metric ton of ore salt and luck to make it i really dont get why people can pay unholy billions (15b-20b) for ships no problem but not 1.5-2b for an item that is so hard to make come on its not like you are going to let them break and have to buy another pair you can repair the crap out of them seriously people these days

if you are max level alchemist, like me, and you know what you are doing, and you buy the mats from company shops,,,,then 1 bil is pretty much cost to make this now.
perhaps some prefer 10-20+ hours of collection to make for alot less cost, which is great, but i dont even make these to sell anymore at 2bil cause the time to make+sell is less then other ways to make money.
trash box items to give 100% succees sounds great, too bad i dint get any from my $20 monthly buy LOL
