I make these, and I'd never even consider selling some for less than 50m, I'd say 50-100m's the actual price range.

They give +1 cooking. With 50M you can buy truckloads of mystery spices and have +5 for ever.

but with these and the riboon you can have r12 in any work yeah you could still use mystery spice but i havent seen many in comp stores or bazaar unless you craft them which is a bit problematic

Well I had mystery spices in my bazaar for a week and nobody bought, so I donated to my company mate. They were a dungeon drop in my case, Lima middle I think.

As for the precious r12 cooking from any job, an accessory like the ribbon and a cooking aide can give you that.

Anyway, I don't mean to spoil the business of the fellow player who makes the mittens :-). I have r15ed cooking - I considered them a while back when I was starting it and determined they weren't worth the 50M I had to buy them for in company shop. Others may think otherwise.

Also note they are a memo album reward too these days, so...

well yeah but most of the cooking aides are not useful for other poduction skills i would take urbain over any of the cooking aides but maybe that is because im not a cooking only type of guy also 50m is nothing xD i normally can make that much just selling 5 10m teak panels that are way easier to make so i dont see why people complain so much lol i even wrote something on the advanced alchemy part as to how not much of the alchemy produced gear is good with the obvious exceptions gloves and reissued silver armor for instance

Mittens + Ribbon + Cooking Aide + Mystery Spices = +8 Cooking. +9 if you're in a job has the skill as Expert. I can see how at the very least a Mittens-Ribbon-Spices combo would help give you (or maybe a friend you're helping out) a pretty nice boost at the early cooking levels. As with all things in this game, of course, there's multiple ways of doing something, and everybody has an approach or style that will work best for them. The important thing is to just have fun playing.
