Bay of Bengal. Landing spot between Calcutta and Pegu. But Search 15 is barely good enough. You want 17 or 18 to make it practical.

i know where, but exact place to dig? theres kinda like 2 upturned boulder, 1 flower spot, and 1 old tree

The second upturned boulder. Turn right when you go in. At Search r18, I get 1 armor per 20 minutes or so. At Search r15, it might take hours for one.

At R19 I found absolutely nothing at all at the rocks. Only when I went to the large tree did I almost immediately start getting finds, including the armour. About 4-6 per hour.

There is something strange with searching this armour in this landing point. I remember last week I read comment by Vindictive and found silver armour at Large tree very fast. Today i went to Large tree and searched for armour again, used all my >1000 vigour - couldn't find ANY item, only rocks.
When i tried Red flower, used half of my vigour - no items at all. Tried Upturned boulder near the entrance - also no items.
And only at second Upturned boulders i started to find items, including this armour.

well, for me i tried the tree first. i spent over 1k vigour like Donce but found nothing, no items, then i moved straght to the 2nd rock and found it with just over 300 vigour, and a ivory recoder a few min later

I stood at the tree for half a day and my first silver-plated armour i dug out was a collector's edition and soon after I get a few silver-plated armour very easily every 10 - 20 minutes. If you want to dig this armour, you need to bring enough vigour food to last you 5 to 6 hours standing at the same spot and only moving away to discard any unwanted finds. I suspect there is some form of time awareness in the codes that determine your chances of getting this armour.

It's probably random, like how much QMPs it takes for a quest to show. There a chance one may find it on the very first search, and there's a chance one, even after a few hours, still can't find items. Just need to have the requirements to get this in the first place (which in this case is r15 search)

Go to the Northeast part of the map, 2nd Upturned Boulder. I searched around the rock base until reaching the face of the stem as I faced Northeast. Then started to find Expert fishing gear, Cutlass, Dull Scimtar, Ivory Recorder, sandalwood fan. Eventually got the Silver Plated armour. Also tried the large Tree and 1st Upturned boulder. only rocks there but only spent about 20 minutes in each place.
