What's the Ex version do? does it have special effect?

The EX version gives the R 5 effect of "Surprise attack · Decrease of attack rate" which "Completely avoid surprise attacks and suppress storm attacks". I assume this means it decreases the odds of NPCs launching a surprise attack on you (not sure if it works for visible or invisible NPCs or both) and (maybe?) lessons damage done on your ship from storms. This and the EX version carries no effect so I would only use it when really necessary.
