who the hell gave you that idea. the hat requires fine dye which is from large leaves which you either spend all day collecting or making from farm, the extracts are from seals of salamander and red ore both which take lots of time to get, then you have the low chance of getting it in the first place. whoever sells this hat for only 500k is not only doing a disservice to any alchemist who considers their time valuable but to themselves because they consider their time useless and worthless

F*CK the adepts biretta back when I was maxed alchemy with adept title I attempted this over 300 times and failed then had someone help and they failed an additional 100 times. The only guys I saw that successfully made it was Kubrius and Stinker... My recommendation do what I did to get one nanban for like 3 or 4 days and offer like 1bil to 2 bill for it and just buy it. It's way cheaper way less time consuming to have like 50 players all trying at once than 1 person trying and never get it.

It's still better to try to make it on your own as it counts to the MA for getting Forbidden Alchemy Book. And even if you dont do Nanban, the book can fetch up to 7-8 bil, maybe more depending on demand (and remember, as BonnyLass pointed out, you need Adept title to equip the biretta, which means getting a base rank of R13 in Alchemy).

What also helps for getting the hat is, when the Holy Roman Empire elections come around and if the time period is the 16th century phase 5 or the 17th century phase 1 and Rudolf II wins, one of his benefits is increased success in Alchemy experiments.

Be aware you need to be at r13 alchemy (without boosts) to make it.

I also made lots of attempts to make one before I got there - then after I got to r13 I finally made it.
