Increasing capacity will allow you to carry more cargo, but turning speed will decrease.
Also, water resistance will increase, affecting Ship Speed.

Yup, that is indeed true, I'v been looking for PWJ since early september 2021, It's now 28th march 2022. By no means I encourage people to go after this particular ship, As it is ridiculously unlikely that it will appear in Cove/CTs in anytime soon, And even less likely for any of the handfull of players who has one, to sell it to anyone.
Bery03-29-2022
Is it good? generally the reason for having only a few ship in circulation meant it is bad or in a bad cove
IronMask03-30-2022
IIRC the cove itself was really bad, and the previous cove was PLOG so everyone's pocket was empty. No one even looked the spec of a merchant ship back then.
Bery03-30-2022
Well once the Steam engine sailor equip comes up ships like these will be the craze for awhile

Would be interesting to see how much acceleration boosts one would get using the Wooden Shovel SE (not available in Maris yet). My guess is that using (1) Wooden Shovel, (2) Physics Research Note and (3) either the Earplug SE (to turn with EA on) or a SE with high sail stats could further boost the sailing capability of the PWJ (or any sail-based trade ship for that matter). Question is whether spending another 2-3CTs per month for the SEMB (SE Maint. Book) is worth the trouble.
