what 2 optional and 1original skill would you put?

Ming Mei

CCC is not worthless at all, CCC has 714 durability

Dongwoo
08-25-2012
Compared to 480 here. That's without any other mods

Wen zhi
08-25-2012
This one is obviously not for melee, crew is too little. I'd use it as gun support. I'm really thinking about Attack Prevention Net, and Medical Support, or even Cooperation enhancement.

Cornelia

isnt this a 'standard' class ship not a 'heavy' both this and CCC are ok for mid lvl BC and ESF but thats about it...

Gael
09-05-2012
Yes, a dumb question, but what is CCC ship full name?

Nina

Custom Commander's Corvette...epic noob question, here goes your noob answer

Cao Wei

This one can still go up to 842 dura.. not bad at all compared to CCC.

Beatrice

Is anyone selling this atm?

Rashid

I made hull for this one but still have no idea where can I build ship.. some help please. :)

major city..

Lisa

major city as the list/table shown above, AFTER roughtly 1M investments. i.e. your captial city only unless you defect and invest

Sonia

Is it possible to make this ship official from FS without panelling?

Claudia

no

Carla

Commander's Heavy Caravel (better)

Beatrice
11-05-2012
Look at the special skills, CC and CHC play two different roles. Someday people are going to learn to quit looking at these ships as one-on-one and start looking at putting together a fleet.

Sonia
11-05-2012
CC is obviously a support and sniper ship, gets the kills while the Commanders heavy caravel is the tank, setting the kills up for corvette and will depend on the corvetters to keep them alive! :)

Igor

covertte need 80 minimum to crew to Make maximum damage but they only have 63 crew and we have to + crew to make maximum damage while CHC 130 crew and need 110 minimum crew to make maximum damage in tank + CHC have more crew more dura more armour then CC i prefer CHC

Nina
11-06-2012
Cabin: (50% or 120%) ~ 150% = 21 ~ 63
Sailors required 16 + Cannon(16) * 4 > 80 ....

worth it to panel one of these things? I have some Venetian plating, but it looks like it only gives +6 to durability.

Wen zhi
11-13-2012
Base dura is 480, veince panel makes it 676 thats hardly + 6 dura

Cornelia
11-13-2012
Yes but it is a FS build with iron, so 672 dura making the panel only +4. Not worth it.

Shazaam
11-13-2012
the base dura of 480 is without it being iron.

Meng Meng
11-13-2012
Can't u read what Cornelia said? It's FS build and it's made from Iron :) I've buil several of these and yes, the dura will be only +6 if u use military panel.

Meng Meng
11-13-2012

use Original ship permits and add EA for this ship and it runs faster than light clipper if fully upgraded 5/5
Althelia04-26-2014
I asked someone about a CC not long after I started UWO, and the response was essentially, "Why would you ever want one? It doesn't have enough crew to use its cannons effectively." I'm glad I ignored him and picked the ship up anyway.
I've been running with a 1/5 CC for a little while now, and I have to say I love the agility on the ship. I've even asked a shipbuilder to help me improve it to 5/5 with Repair Support, Medical Support, and Emergency Acceleration. Eventually, I hope to get it up to 6/6, but I'm only 30/28/38, so the last step will have to wait for a few levels. The CC is very good at its job: staying out of danger, and helping its allies.
I don't know why people tend to dismiss support ships as being "worse" than other battleships when they serve a completely different function. Of course they're not going to be the most effective in a 1-on-1 battle, but they'll definitely shine in a well-balanced fleet. It's not just this game; it's pretty much any multiplayer game I've ever encountered. Supports in general are scoffed at for being weaker when their talents lie elsewhere.
Anyway, I apologize for the long-winded message, but I felt the need to defend the Commander's Corvette after I had some first-hand experience with the ship. To all of you new players out there: Don't just listen to one person. Dig around for more information, or better yet, try it yourselves!

it might be good if u grind with it in caribbean and buy cannons 12 from colony , but imo its totally not worth improving it to 5/5 , the way from 37 to 52 is not too long though
DiNozzo11-24-2017
This is quite a fast ship but comes with iron-plated and cedar/teak panel isnt available atm. Furthermore, iron-plated means high improvement/rebuilt cost.
Daemon11-24-2017
Teak Panels are available to buy in San Francisco for 10m with 19th Century title.
- Non-tradeable
- Doesn't work for as material for recipes.
