I just looked and its the same men 1 less studing sail and still no bow turret

no bow turret, but if you know what you're doing it still can work. probably fastest accellerating ship type in the game (XC). with heavy bombing you can catch clippers before they exit the ring.

i used to have an arnmed large schooner. sails were about 350/500 when refited for max H sail. xebec cruiser have about 400/450. still seems better ship to me, but thats only my opinion. you can try and see
